Vicki Lim, B.S., L.M.T., Therapeutic Massage Therapist, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practioner, Yoga Therapist and Vedic Astrologer

Vicki has her B.S. in Liberal Arts.  She became interested in meditation, yoga and alternative medicine in the mid '80's.  She taught meditation at the A.R.E. clinic in Phoenix, AZ in 1986.  Training in Touch for Health peaked her interest in massage therapy.  She trained in massage at West Wind Academy in Phoenix.  In 1988 she started her massage practice.  In 1990 she went to China to study Tuina at the Guong An Men Hospital in Beijing.  She is an ongoing student of massage and healing techniques to serve her clients.  Techniques include:  Ayuvedic/Marma Massage, Bowen Therapy, NMT, MET, Strain Counter Strain, Tuina, Swedish, Polarity, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral, Russian Medical and Sports Massage, Aromatherapy and Deep Tissue

She has specialized in assisting clients with their recovery from injuries/accidents/surgery.  She has worked with D.O.'s, M.D.'s, Chiropractors and Psychologists.  In the early '90's she had massage apprentices.  In 2009 she began teaching massage, first at Intellitec College, then at Pueblo Community College.

In the 2000"s she added yoga therapy into her practice to assist her clients.  She did her yoga teacher training with IYT Yoga in 1998.  These interests lead her to pursue a certification of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practioner from Dr. David Frawley in 2009.  She has continued her Ayurvedic training with Dr. Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute and Dr. Bharat Vidya of Broomfield, CO. 

In 2002 she trained in Bowen Therapy through the Bowen Academy of Australia.  She has found Bowen to be helpful with removing trauma from accidents and injuries as well as providing stability to those suffering from MS and Parkinsons.  It is an important part of her practice.
